Hydro Seeding

Hydroseeding is a fantastic method to establish a lawn or hillside for erosion control. This method saves time and is very cost effective. We only use certified seed mixtures and order directly from our suppliers. We don’t store “old” seeds thus, maintaining high quality very cost effective.

Hydroseeding is basically of seed, fertilizer, mulch, a tackifier to bind mulch, and water. This soupy mixture is then sprayed onto a slope or lawn area. The seed sits within a protective bed of mulch and moisture thus speeding up the germination process and adds better plant coverage. We use wood mulch vs. a paper mulch to protect seeds more effectively.
